Gone

    The air of the evening felt unsettling, ever since Snow had come over with the news that he would be absent and in search of his mother who had supposedly been fount alive. Inana felt skeptical about it, especially since Snow wasn't somebody known to cancel plans so quickly. She leaned on the window sill of the home's living room, staring out the window at the sea of amber-colored trees in front. After long moments of looking to nothing, she saw a quadruped figure walking up the trail to the front door, the small lamp unable to light the far away figure. As her eyes followed the figure, thinking that it was her brother for a brief moment before remembering that he usually flew home, and this figure lacked the wings for doing so. The Wyngro came closer, and suddenly she recognized them as Snow's father.

     With the Wyngro identified, she went to the door and headed outside, greeting the lop eared quad. "Mr. Aaron! Wh.. What are you doing out here at this hour?" Aaron's look was laced in a gloomy demeanor. He dodged the question, instead placing his news down, not sugarcoated and convincing.

    "It's Snow. Snow, he is gone." Inana stared in disbelief, trying to wrap her mind around the thought.

    "W-what do you mean he's gone?! Where is he-" small tear drops formed along the bottoms of her eyes, not yet heavy enough to drop down her cheeks. Aaron lowered his head and closed his eyes, wanting to put out a calmed disposition. However, he did not shed any tears.

    "... He went out into the forest to find his mother," he paused for a moment, attempting to put together the correct words to explain in a simple way that would not drag out anything. "Something attacked him in there, I tried going to him, however I was too late. I could not save Snow." The blow of sudden realization hit hard. Inana fell to her knees, sobbing in a heap in front of her lover's father. Aaron sat down in front of the turquoise Wyngro, wrapping an arm around her in attempts to act comforting. Opening her eyes, she stared into the icy blues that belonged to Aaron. The tears blurring her vision, the face of Aaron so similar to Snow that it seemed the cool-colored Wyngro was right in front of her, and yet he was seemingly intangible.

Tried my best to try and do this as best as I can, like I've said before I'm not the best writer (which is why I didn't typically do stories and comics, been doing them more recently to try and practice), buuut I guess it serves its purpose for being something to help story flow. Feel free to critique the story if you'd like, been meaning to ask for more opinions on things.

(also bc ye gotta introduce that there angst yee  )
